The British Horseball Association

At the end of the 1970s, two brothers from Bordeaux were asked by the French authorities to design a new sport that the whole of France could play. Taking ideas from rugby and basket ball, they created a fast exciting equestrian game known as Horseball. Twenty years later, with over 4,000 players in France, they brought it to the UK. Now Horseball is being considered as a potential Olympic sport and is played in 15 different countries.
